Lakeside Scrap Metals, Inc. does accept mixed loads, material must be kept separate by shipping boxed or baled. We can also accept loose material if it is a single item and loaded in the nose of the trailer.

Does Lakeside Scrap Metals, Inc. accept material in drums?
We will receive material in drums but drums must be banded to a skid.

What is the heaviest a skid of material can weigh?
Lakeside Scrap Metals, Inc. can handle up to 4500-lb. skids and, with prior approval, we may be able to handle heaver skids.

Does Lakeside Scrap Metals, Inc. accept loose rod turnings (borings)?
Yes, we are able to accept loose rod borings on a trailer.

Does Lakeside Scrap Metals, Inc. buy material off the street from peddlers?
Although our facility on Miles Avenue does not accept materials from peddlers, our locations on Broadway, East 55th Street and Streetsboro do accept peddler traffic. Please see our contact page for information.

Yes, we do offer pricing options through our hedging programs.

What are standard payment terms?
Other than peddler traffic, Lakeside Scrap Metals, Inc. standard payment terms are net 30 days. All terms are subject to negotiation at time of transaction.

Yes, we offer comprehensive scrap management programs for our industrial accounts.

Yes, we have the ability to provide boxes or trailers at locations.
